The other day, in honor of our dear friend Liam, we went looking for food for our bio-reactors. Luckily, they aren't very picky about their food, since it's mostly made up of micro-organisms, bugs, and fish.

Environmental burdens are disproportionately borne by indigenous populations, low-income communities, and people of color. These burdens include immediate health hazards, but also the more subtle inequities like lack of access to healthy foods, safe locations for physical activity, as well as the aggressive advertising of “junk food” and alcohol.
Yesterday, April 19th, 2010, we went out to cover the march against the state capital to try and affect a positive change in public policy and have the state realize the importance of funding the arts. Durnig my life, I've seen a consistent trend of cutting both education and arts funding, throughout the country. This latest round of cuts is more proof that public officials and government don't value the arts in our society.
Now that I am able to carry an HD Video camera in my pocket, while biking, and to any sort of event in Atlanta, thanks to the Kodak zi8, I have been able to document the amazing festivities that make Atlanta so enjoyable when the weather cooperates.
