Carnivores Music Video

The latest film from BZD Films hit the shelf last week, a new psychedelic collaboration between BZD Films and the local Atlanta band, Carnivores, check it out here:

Internet Hype

The story first broke on thetripwire and has been proliferated from there through outlets like Creative Loafing, ELBO.WS, and The TV Realist. The video has thus been dubbed a "psychedelic seance" and that our editor, Adam Bruneau, "probably smoked some drugs and sat in an editing bay for a few hours." While I can attest that the latter is not true, overall the video has been well received, and it was a great experience to work with the Carnivores.

And Who Would've Thought?

I didn't actually believe it myself at first, but then I thought back and realized that this is in fact the first legit music video I've done, and the first by BZD Films. I guess it's because we've been spending so much time working on socially-minded documentaries (such as Unusual Pairs and INDIAbetes), but we welcome any and all bands in need of high quality music videos to contact us and let the collaboration begin.

I almost forgot to mention,

I almost forgot to mention, this video was shot on the Canon 550D (see the article here: http://techdrawl.com/Geekery-D/Gear-Exams/An-Independent-Filmmakers-Review-And-Demo-Reel-Of-The-Canon-Rebel-T2i-EOS-550D ), as well as on Super8mm Kodak Ektachrome 100D.
